We just got back from a fabulous 6 night cruise through the Windward Islands with Island Windjammers! We are the kind of people who have no desire to take a cruise on one of those monster ships with thousands of people on board and this trip was exactly what we wanted!! The Diamant is a gorgeous boat that holds 12 passengers and 5 crew, and this is the perfect size to get to know the other people and crew. The cabins and bathroom were comfortable and we could store all of our stuff (pack lightly). The food was fantastic and plentiful and I always cleaned my plate; lots of great seafood and several fantastic pasta dishes with fish or shrimp. The fruit and vegetables were always fresh. The itinerary was a great blend of walking charming towns, hiking to the top of hills for great views, snorkeling, hanging out on the beach, playing on the rope swing off the bow of the boat, playing "pirate farewell together after dinner, visiting fun little bars and eating lobster pizza....not to mention riding the bow of the boat through fun waves and just sitting on the deck enjoying the sunrise and sunset! Every member of the crew was a joy to interact with! They were so nice and helpful and concerned about our safety when leaving the boat and dingy. The Captain actually got me coffee several times when the boat was rocking!! I can't say enough good things about the trip and have absolutely nothing negative to report!

Cabin Review

Cabin ??

We liked cabin 6, as it had a small double bed and a single top bunk; we laid our cloths out on the upper bunk.
