This was our 7th Disney cruise and we had planned it to be our last for awhile since my boys are getting older(11 & 14). Prior to this cruise, we strayed and took 2 non DCL cruises and had a great time, which was why we thought it was time to move on. This cruise we went to Cozumel and Castaway.

Sailing out of Miami is not as easy as Port Canaveral, but it was relatively smooth. The Wonder is not shiny new and our cabin was on the 2nd floor which had not been refurbished yet. The porthole window was slightly smaller than the ones towards midship and did not have the window seating like my previous one. I was slightly apprehensive initially, but within a 30min, I was wowed again by the Disney service and vibe of the ship.

Due to my son's allergies, we went to Parrot Cay for lunch. The chef came out and took care of him. We relaxed and went over the navigator which reminded me how much there was to do on a Disney ship! Having sailed "the other line" just 3 months before, it really was a reminder how Disney is just that one notch above the other line.

Cabin Review

Cabin 9C

Cabin on 2nd floor near aft elevators. Close to dining rooms, but a little hike to the buffet, pool and drink stations. Cabin was right above gangway, so there was some noise on port mornings. Nothing that bothered us. Very convenient for when we came back from port as we just had to go up 1 flight of stairs. Porthole is large, but not as large as the ones towards midship. No window seating. Plenty of room for our family of 4. 1 queen and sofa/bunk with curtain room divider. split bath.
