The Voyager of the Seas is a spectacular ship. I recommend it to anyone. For those that are single, this is not the ship to sail. I booked my cruise one year in advance. There was my mom, my son and eight other family members. Our ports were, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Haiti and St.Thomas (all beautiful islands) We had a balcony room. Which was great because you had more room, you can get a good view of the islands and you can place your wet clothes out to dry. They have no irons or washers in rooms or floors. There is a charge for this. I sent 2 pairs of black pants to the cleaners and it cost me $8.00 not bad..

Arriving in Miami was great. Though, i wished i left the day before. Same day travel is very tiring. We checked in with no problems and went straight to lunch at the Windjammer Cafe. This is where we ate lunch everyday and had our dinner in the dining room. The service was great all around.

We did not do any excursions with Royal. In the Bahamas we shopped, there was no time for beach time. St. Thomas we went on a trolly around the island, were left at the beach for 2hrs and then picked up to return to the ship...AWESOME!!!! Paid 25.00 per person. In Puerto Rico we took a taxi at a rate of 19.00 to take us to the beach (isla verde..20min ride) Then another 19.00 to get back to the ship. Right at the pier there are restaurants, shopping etc....we did before boarding. Lovely pier.... In Haiti, it was the best..Water was great, lunch is served on the island, hammocks, water sports etc.....This was the best.
