This was our third cruise with carnival and the second time on the Glory. We only live two hours from port and decided to drive over and park at the port. The whole process was made very easy. The embarkation process also went very smoothly and we were on the ship by 12:30.

As usual the staff was pushing the fun drinks. My only problem with that is my daughter is only 14, however she looks and acts much older and I had to continuously tell the staff the she is under age to drink. A lot of the staff do not under stand what a virgin drink is and would serve her drinks with alcohol. After a couple of days a few of the servers got to know us and would look out for her when she ordered. I am a lucky mom that I have a teenager that does not like alcohol.

Our dining time was a problem we had requested early dining and got late dining. We tried to have it changed with no luck. However I did learn a trick on how to get your time changed. The people in line behind me did get their time change by tipping the Maitre D $50.00 with their request. The food was great and service was good at all of the meals, they were even able to please my picky teenager. For that I was very grateful.
