Yes, the ship is magnificent. It is a magnificent structure, with a grand and beautiful fitout in the public areas that makes you feel very special.

The facilities onboard are generally first class EXCEPT FOR THE INTERNET which had over 300 people screaming with frustration at its inadequacy and dropout rate. Considering that we were supposed to be on a five star ship, the internet could only be compared to a very slow dial up. When it worked. Many of us were given substantial time credits because of the problems. It made trying to do work or communicating with your office almost impossible. I felt really sorry for the head IT guy who constantly had a line of people trying to communicate but with little or no success. Even the admin office was at one stage unable to communicate with head office.................the word pathetic enters my head.

Our cabin 8040 was great and we were greeted in the cabin with a half bottle of french champagne which was rapidly consumed as we slid into shipboard mode.

Cabin BA

A great cabin, plenty of storage and a decent sized shower.

Ice bucket refilled twice a day, fresh towels and bed remade constantly

First class cabin steward Larry was indispensible
