This was our first ever cruise so I'm not able to compare this ship to others. Rhapsody is small in comparison to many of the other cruise ships operating at the moment so she doesn't have most of the modern fancy stuff. No mini golf, no ice skating rink etc but what she lacks in these things she makes us for in pure dignity. She's a classy, understated lady.

Cabin Review

Superior Interior Stateroom

Cabin J

Cabin was plenty big enough for what we wanted. Bathroom is of course small, but big enough.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

Boarded here. Process went smoothly. Dropped off by taxi right outside. All the staff and customs officials were helpful and friendly. Checkin went smoothly. Nothing bad to say

Mare

Had to pay $20 US for the shuttle to the beach. This place was not originally on our itinerary but our trip to "Mystery Island" was changed to this because of cyclone Pam the week before. Can't say I'm too sad about the change. Mare is a beautiful island and the locals are very friendly. All the signs are in English which makes it much easier. Great place. Gorgeous beach. Once again take reef shoes as its a volcanic island and the beach is covered in pumice stone

Lifou

Beautiful place. Wonderful warm water for snorkeling. Greeted by turtles as the tender pulled into the jetty. Lovely. Shopping is a bit pricy compared to the other places we went though
