This was my first cruise ever, and I am very glad that I chose to sail with Princess for my first cruise! This was the Ruby's first cruise from the West Coast after arriving from a long journey around South America from Ft. Lauderdale. Our cruise visited: Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas.

Embarkation: Was a bit crazy because this was a sold out a cruise and many people were taking this voyage for their Spring Break vacation! We arrived at the port around 12:30-45ish and were onboard around 1:30. Not too bad of a wait for the amount of people that were in the terminal. It was a bit disorganized and had to ask a couple employees on where to go and all that, but this was my first cruise so I was a bit confused! Once we got our room keys/cruise cards, we directly proceeded to the escalator to the gangway! I was super excited boarding the ship, and even got a bit emotional because of how happy I was, LOL!

Getting onboard: Once we boarded the ship, we went directly to our room, dropped off some bags we had, and then went to explore, and holy cow the ship was HUGEEE to me! Wanted to familiarize myself. The ship was beautiful, and very clean, staff was always working hard everyday on maintenance.

Cabin IB

Great Cabin! Very clean, comfy, and cozy! Did what we needed it for; beds are very comfortable and we slept like babies each night! No problems at all with the room, was in very excellent condition! Will definitely stay an in interior room again!

Port Reviews

Mazatlan

Very nice town, lots of historic charm in downtown and great beaches in the Golden Zone! Took a taxi to the Golden Zone, went to the beach, did shopping, ate lunch, and went to the town to explore some more!

Puerto Vallarta

Loved Puerto Vallarta! Took a bus ride to El Malecon, and walked the whole boardwalk. Did shopping, went to the beach, and explored the town! Then headed to "Las Gallerias Vallarta" to get some Starbucks, LOL!
