My 89 year old mother, my sister and brother and i took a wonderful trip on the American Cruise Lines's Queen of the Mississippi. The ship's staff services were impeccable and could not have been more attentive. Such a breath of fresh air to encouter so many wonderful young men and women from the USA staffing the ship. It was refreshing to converse with each one on their future plans in the hospitality business and/or other businesses that their cruise work experiences would help them in their future job search.

We met so many interesting and engaging fellow passengers and found most were very well traveled. Now they are choosing to see our beautiful USA in a comfortable and not overcrowded manner.

From the beginning of our trip planing made through our travel professional, connecting with the reservatioist staff (Isabelle), boarding our ship, enjoying our daily meals, experiencing cabin comfort in our large room with balcony , informative and easy shore excursions and nightly wholesome entertainment, we were extremely pleased. Not all the "bells and whistles' of big ships but exactly what we were looking for in small ship cruising.
