This was our fourth Viking trip and we continue to be amazed at how well things are done. No detail is overlooked. My birthday was spent in a lovely monestary with a birthday song included by the Fado performers. I thanked my husband only to learn that he had nothing to do with it. There were some bumps along the way on this cruise, but the crew and staff went above and beyond to insure that every experience was stellar. The day trip to Salamanca was a must do. The port tastings were informative. The onboard offering of cork products was a special treat and I learned a lot about a new topic. I loved the fado performances and am still enjoying the music that I brought home with me. That long leisurely meal at Coimbra was particularly replacing and enjoyable.
