We sailed on the 14 night repositioning cruise from Tampa to Baltimore with stops in Grand Cayman, Costa Rica, Panama, Aruba, Bonaire and St Maarten.
The ship with the new Funship 2.0 upgrades is well maintained with lots of new additions, apparently done at the end of 2014. The Carnival mobile phone app and hub does not yet work on this ship.
Embarkation in Tampa was easy and pretty quick. Debarkation in Baltimore was fine for us, but we heard from others that it took hours and hours!
The staterooms are nice. Room Steward, Winn, was great! The beds are comfortable. AC wasn’t quite adequate enough to keep the room cool to cold, especially at night and also when the sun was against the windowed door. Our room had about a 27” flat panel LED TV. Most of the time the channels worked, but at critical times (like March Madness), we lost reception on some channels. (DirecTV is the ship’s provider.) None of the channels in the room were HD. ESPN is not available in the rooms, but is on in the Casino and Sport Bar (I think they want you down there spending money and not in your room).
Refrigerator in the room was okay. We kept our drinks and water in there and took out the bar supplies they had inside to make it a mini-bar. Unless the cabinet door was left open, the refrigerator could not keep up because the heat got stuck inside the cabinet.
