The Good: Attention to detail. I could not any dust, anywhere, period! The Staff all seemed very happy and consequently provided excellent service. Free bottled water provided every day as you departed the ship. Free water and sodas all day every day. The included Malts, Shakes etc. from the Ice Cream corner was a delight. The Canyon Ranch Spa and staff was a wonderful experience but as with most ships, very expensive. The food was exceptional in all the venues.

The not so good: Don't bother with the Ships Excursions. They are too expensive. On this voyage you could just walk off and there were always operators with signs advertising the exact same tour for substantially less money (cash only).

The cruise brochure itinerary said we would be going ashore at Pitcairn Island. Three weeks before our cruise we receive a email from Oceania stating that due to weather conditions we would not be going ashore. As it turns out the weather could not have more calm. We still did not go ashore. Instead a boat load of islanders came aboard and sold us there wares, some made in China, and gave us a lecture. After talking to the staff on our ship and some of the locals who came aboard, the only ships that ever land passengers on Pitcairn are the Explorer class, 120 or fewer passengers. Can you say false advertising?

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

Cabin B2

The cabins were very nice and in excellent condition. The only negative would be the small size of the shower. The Bathroom was large by most standards but had a separate tub and shower. Most passengers don't take baths and this made the shower seem as a after thought.
