Cabin: Junior Suite

We flew in a day early and stayed at the Embassy Suites. Our rooms weren't ready until 4:00 pm but they give you an access card for the beautiful pool, there is a nice changing room, and they store your luggage for you. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant (El Patio), free drinks at the evening reception, dinner at the attached Outback Restaurant, and free breakfast in the morning.

We checked out of the hotel at 11:00, took a cab to the pier and were onboard by noon. Lunch at the Windjammer, toured the ship, luggage was waiting at our room when the cabins were ready at 2:00.

The ship was well maintained and easy to get around. The adult-only Solarium pool was a wonderful, quiet retreat. There were 2 large hot tubs in addition to the pool. The pool patrol removed towels from unoccupied seats after 30 minutes so we could always find someplace to relax. The drink waiters were easy to find and not too intrusive, and at the Solarium Bar it was easy to get waited on.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

A very nice spacious cabin. There was more storage than 2 people could possibly use, and the walk-in closet made it easy to keep our cabin neat and tidy. We actually liked having a balcony with metal walls because it was very private - no one was going to peek around the corner! Having a bathtub made the shower area larger than in a standard room, with a nice long clothesline for hanging up swimsuits. Having the elevators nearby was very convenient and we never noticed any extra noise.

Port Reviews

San Juan

Had a very nice stay at the Embassy Suites hotel. Beautiful pool, free drinks at an evening reception and free breakfast in the morning. You know what the cab ride will cost before you get in.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Stayed in the port area. Bought some souvenirs, then had a great massage at a spa named The Chop Shop (look for a big oval sign). There's a big open air bar across the street with frozen drinks.
