Had a great time. It was our 18th RCI cruise but first time being part of CruiseCritic. Nice touch having the get together but an odd time and location on ship but FREE is FREE. Ship was nice, clean, and most meals were FAB. Service and entertainment not as outstanding as other RCI ships. Great ports (St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Aruba, Curraco), great weather, great people watching. Did learn that the Sheraton Old San Juan IS not in walking distance to the Royal Caribbean pier. Check-in and Disembarkation one of the fastest and easiest we've had. Noticed increase in pricing in drinks and formal pictures from New Years cruise 2014 to April 2015 cruise. Still Loyal to Royal - will our status, it is hard to try anything other line.
Good cabin size and location. Excellent cabin attendant
Been here several times. Flew in evening before cruise. Walked around and had dinner. Hotel was chosen for location which turned out to be false info. Hotel not work the $$
Love St. Thomas. Been here several times. Took taxi to Mountain Top for view and famous banana daquari and then brief shopping. Spent afternoon on quiet ship
Been here before. A bit of shopping and then to Cockelshell Beach. Good drinks and service. Beach area was covered in sea weed due to recent storm. Friar Beach much less crowed. Tried a "Pain Killer" island drink :)
Did this cruise intineary for Aruba port and was disappointed. Very expensive and non islandish. View from ship/port is very industrial. BUT, water was outstanding - did Eagle Beach on a suggestion but would not return to this beach. All beaches are public in Aruba
