The Good: The service from room stewards and food service were great. The ship is clean but pretty dated.

The Bad: Port of Los Angeles is very bad. Being a Platinum member has virtually no benefits at this port. People who buy the fun-times (they pay to get to the front of the line), were let in at the same time. There is no place to wait inside at this port, was windy and cold as we waited outside for hours. Port employees acted more like police personnel than service personnel.

The food at Carnival never seems to change, you know before you sit down to dine what will be available.

Port Reviews

Los Angeles

Most unorganized port we have experienced. No inside waiting, platinum member perks don't seem to matter at this port... if you pay you can be in the front of the line with the members who have cruised many time more.

Personnel are more police-like than service oriented.
