We've been on 15 cruises prior to trying the Azamara Cruise Line. The Azamara Journey was recently refurbished, WELL maintained & appears in great condition. It is a smaller ship, which makes it more personal & intimate. There is classy wooden decor throughout the ship.

The ship has a very relaxed, but yet classy atmosphere to it. The Captain, lead by example, by being very visible, relaxed, friendly & casually dressed (no tie or jacket, unless during special occasions), yet professional, as reflected by the crew. We really liked the non-formal, but yet causally dressed nights for dining.

There is sufficient activities on board for those who want to participate & quiet areas for those who just want to relax. I was a regular user of the gym, which I found to be adequately equipped.

Cabin Review

Club Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin 06

Room 4011 is a forward, starboard, stateroom with picture window. It was furnished with standard cruise line furniture, a queen size bed, fabric chair for one, small round table & flat screen TV. This is a connecting room, which we found to be adequate for 2 people.

We found this room to be comfortable & very quiet.
