We have been on cruises with Tompsons for many years going back to our first cruise on the Topaz. When we first cruised the standard of the food was much higher, We had dishes such as Steak and Lobster on the main restruant menu. That has now gone if you want staek you have to pay extra £10 (so much for all inclusive) If you want an Ice Cream again you have to pay extra.

The drinks inclusive has also become almost a con. When we first started cruising drinks inclusive had a very few products (6 or 7) which had a small supliment to pay and there were the premiume brands. Now the majority of the drinks have a surchege of arounf £1.50 per drink. Even basic drinks such as Baileys now have a surcharge. The way they have started adding so many extra charges it is starting to makes us look to move to one of the other cruise comanies.

Even the free nibbles which used to be placed on the tables have now stopped and they now charge for packets of nuts or crisps.
