Very disappointed in this cruise. Had done Viking before and was very satisfied. Cannot recommend them in the future. The food was not good. The Program Director was awful. We arrived late because of a flight cancellation (they booked our airfare with us not being allowed to have any input as to the selections). They didn't do anything to try to make up the lost days for us. We wanted to cancel once we saw we were going to miss at least the first 2 days and Viking would not allow us to reschedule..... so we had to get on a plane that had at least 5 problems that were being repaired.... or lose our $7,000. No one at Viking would help us. The top deck was almost never opened for the entire cruise. The guided tours were too slow and we saw far too little of each city. Not much to see along these rivers. The cities were nice for the most part but the tours were not good. Missed a lot of time due to being stuck in the locks twice. Did I mention the program directors was awful. She was a "fill in" and didn't seem to care if she did a good job or not. Would not recommend this particular cruise.
