Perhaps had we never cruised on Princess we'd not have recognized the failings, but they were many.

The rooms are TINY. We had a balcony cabin, similar to what we get on Princess, but there was no room to move around at all. The bathroom was a postage stamp. All survivable since we weren't there much. Be warned that Deck 7 is where the lifeboats hang. We got our kids an oceanview room with a porthole...that looked directly into the side of a lifeboat.

This is the best itinerary for Hawaii, at least for an active family like ours that doesn't enjoy "at sea" days as much as getting out and doing. Still, the entertainment was a step down, not just the people, but the sound system as well.
