Just back from the Grand European River Cruise, on Viking Alsvin, from Budapest to Amsterdam. Exceeded our expectations! The Viking Longships are beautiful. Very impressed with everything on the ship! Cabins were well designed. We were on the top floor at the back. Dining was the best. So much food to enjoy, on every meal. Shore excursions were also great! The cleanliness of the ship was just amazing. Our thanks to Jose, our room steward, and Regael, (hope I spelled your name right) Goran, Vincent, and Dexter who looked after serving our meals and drinks. Many thanks again. Disembarkation was a breeze; having people leaving throughout the day made it easy. No mobs all leaving at the same time. Really enjoyed Budapest, no modern buildings here. Entertainment onboard was a gentlemen playing the piano at lunch and after dinner. On a couple of nights we had Slovakian dancers, glass blowing demonstration, classical evening. Will definitely do another cruise with Viking.
