Our first ever cruise (probably not our last).

This was an overall enjoyable cruise.

We are a fully able English couple in our late 50s who, in the main, like to do our own thing. I'm not particularly social whereas my wife can talk to anybody.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin ME

Brilliant. The Mini Suite is bigger than most of the hotel rooms we have used. Sandy, our steward, was smiling and helpful.

Port Reviews

Gibraltar

Easy walk into the center of town. We walked to the Botanical gardens which was well worth a trip.

Barcelona

Just used shuttle bus and walked around for over 4 hours. Which suited us as we were using the cruise to see if we would come back to a city for a 'city break'. There is plenty more to see/do.

Corsica (Ajaccio)

Lovely place. Very pretty and you can walk to it direct from the ship.

Florence (Livorno)

Got the "Tour Florence on your own" excursion. Amazing place and will be coming back again. We didn't go into the main attractions as the queues were too long but, stumbled into the "Museo Galileo" for a hour or so while it hammered down with rain.

Marseille

Marseille was a surprise. Take to shuttle bus though as its a long walk into town. We spent some time at the Mucem.
