Sail Date: Aug 2015

Having read some awful negative reviews I was a bit apprehensives prior to the cruise but, having sailed since the eighties on big ships, small ships and 5 mast sailing ships to numerous countries I found Britannia the best so far and congratulate P&O and the desighners on a magnificent ship with a touch of class.

Embarkation at Southampton was a breeze no problem even though Eavesway got us there early we were in the cabin in about 45 minutes.

Lets compare some of those terrible reviews with my experienve.

Cabin Review

Cabin balcony without sofa

More than adequate for our needs, very big comfortable beds, excellent television with loads of programmes and if you are watching a film and decide to stop, you can carry on watching at that point on another night, can't fault it.

Bathroom more than adequate with an excellent shower.

Tea and coffee making facilities provided.

Plenty of storage facilities.

Port Reviews

Stavanger

Ship docks close to the town, easy to get around and a good market near the ship

Southampton

Effortless embarkation

Bergen

Caught the shuttle bus to the town, very good weather and just strolled, excellent fish market
