Chef Pascal was beyond excellent on the Viking Forseti. Delicious food and wine and I have been on 4 Viking River Cruises. The female activities director was the best we ever had. Easy to talk to and always available. The ports were high on wine but low on history and interest. It could be it was cold and rainy. The wine luncheons and wine dinners in the Chateaus were excellent. I am from the wine country in California so not as impressed with wineries as most people but the difference in farming was very interesting. The service was excellent and the local tour guides were well informed.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom

The cabin was very small and the mattresses uncomfortable. It was hard to move around and get ready. 12 more inches would have helped.

Port Reviews

Bordeaux

Small but interesting port. Clean and lots of things to do.
