Everything about our Viking experience was great, from the time we were met at the airport to the end of the trip. When anything unexpected happened, such as when my suitcase did not arrive with me, Viking took care of it immediately. The Viking staff were vey friendly and helpful. The food was abundant and delicious, with interesting choices for each meal. We especially enjoyed the opera singers who came on the last night to entertain us. The German night was also great fun with good food and entertainment.

We liked the shore excursions, especially in that there was some structure to each city's visit with excellent guides and then there was free time to walk around the various sites on our own.

We had a small room on the lowest level but it was certainly adequate for us. It had a relatively large window and a nice bathroom with shower. However, we spent most of our time on the upper levels, sitting out on the deck. The weather was perfect during our trip so all the excursions were pleasant.

Cabin Review

Cabin Standard

While we were in one of the least expensive rooms, it was certainly more than adequate for our needs. We especially liked the shower, the comfortable bed, and the rather large window despite being on the lower level.

Port Reviews

Regensburg

This was one of my favorite towns. It was small enough so that we could spend a pleasant day walking around but large enough to see many interesting sites.

Nuremberg

A city tied into so much history of the last century. Our tour guide was very interesting and informative and the city is beautiful.
