Having been fortunate to have seen much of Europe with Viking on the larger rivers I was extremely pleased with what we encountered with our most recent cruise, The Cities of Lights, Prague to Paris this past June. After leaving Prague, one of Europe's most charming cities, we meandered along quiet, and very scenic waterways, stopping at delightful towns along the way. Towns like Bamberg and Miltonberg were absolutely wonderful.

The quality of the food and service on board was extraordinary. The excursions were informative, insightful and done at a very enjoyable pace. The whole cruise we were surrounded with beautiful countryside at a very peaceful, relaxing speed.

When we reached Paris we were able to see the Eiffel Tower, just a block away from our hotel. What a sight-it never fails to impress, especially at night. This cruise was an unexpected treasure and truly one of the very best I have ever experienced.
