We have only one regret related to our cruise on the Danube from Budapest to Nuremberg, and that regret is that we didn't do it sooner. The ship, the crew, the organization, the meals, the tours with native guides, the cabin - everything was first-rate. The meals were wonderful and the tours were memorable, but I would like to single out one thing as being absolutely perfect, and that was the crew. Every event, every tour, every meal, every experience with briefings or entertainment or bartenders or housekeeping or the mechanical crew was absolutely wonderful. Viking employees know how to treat their customers! And further evidence of our feelings about our first cruise in May 2015 - we have already booked our second cruise for March of 2016.

French Balcony

Cabin D

The cabin was small, but more than adequate for the two of us. There was ample closet and drawer space, a very comfortable bed, good channel selection on the TV, a sliding door with a railing to enjoy the beautiful view on the river bank, the toiletries provided were excellent, and the housekeeping crew did a great job keeping it perfect no matter the time of day.
