We had a 7 days holiday on the Viking Forseti in and around Bordeaux.

We had a fine time. The ship and crew were excellent, the food mouthwatering and the wine a delight. The excursions were very informative and all the tour guides were extremely professional. Highlights for us were the two chateau visits. Especially Chateau Sauliac where our French host and owner made us all feel very much at home. On board we must make a special mention of the pianist Mr Blondie who entertained us most evenings with an extensive repertoire and wonderful voice, his rendition of Music of the Night was masterful. The weather the week we were in Bordeaux was in the high thirties and the ships crew did everything possible to make us comforable
