Entering one of the many Locks along the Danube
Palace in Slovakia

This was the first part of a six week European Adventure which also included a ocean cruise and a number a rail trips.

After two nights in Budapest at the Budapest Hilton in the castle district we boarded Viking Longship Magni and the real relaxing trip commenced. From the moment we approached the Magni we were made to feel welcome and after a welcome drink and brief introduction we were escorted to our cabin.

The professionalism of the crew was outstanding, so friendly and anticipating, it was a joy to be with them.

Cabin Review

French Balcony Superior

Cabin C

This was a French Balcony cabin on Level 3, Port side and towards the aft of the rivership. Initial thoughts were it is a bit squeezy, however, after settling in and unpacking all the design 'smarts' became apparent and it is a very useable, comfortable cabin - the bathroom was very impressive. Note: we only really used the cabin in which to sleep, store our goodies and shower and change - there was so much else to do on the rivership that the size of the cabin was irrelevant.
