Round trip Portland OR cruise on Columbia/Snake Rivers. Excellent tours and exposure to history, both geology and early people, of the area. SS Legacy comfortable, but cabin quite small - we are spoiled with larger cruise line experience! Food good, well prepared and presented, but with limited selection. Waitstaff not well versed on menu details. Relatively large crew - professional and accommodating. Only 56 guests on this trip led to a more relaxed and roomy feeling. All agreed that full complement of 80+ passengers would be somewhat uncomfortable in lounge, dining room and on tour buses. Overall value questionable - tours, lectures and exposure to the area very good, but (comparable) total cost per night at the high end of what we experience with larger cruise line, with creature comforts (food, cabins, public areas) significantly less.

Cabin Review

Cabin Captain

ok for only 7 nights. ample room for storage of clothes, luggage. limited floor space with bathroom door positioning critical to allow movement. Only one floor electrical outlet. Bathroom very cramped, shower ok with ample hot water.
