We decided to do a cruise of the med for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and to be honest we were both not really looking forward to it as didn't know what to expect as used to relaxing on holiday and this was a port heavy cruise.

We stayed in Barcelona for 2 night before embarkation, with arranged taxi from the airport and the hotel and on disembarkation which was really efficient. The Hotel was upgraded as we wanted to be in the centre of Barcelona.

On embarking we didn't get the wow factor we expected and the ships top deck looked tired and old. The outside cabin was on deck 5 and perfect as close to disembarking at ports, it met our needs, was clean and tidy and our steward was absolutely fantastic.

Cabin OE

Size was as expected as well as location. Had problems keeping water in the shower as tended to flood the bathroom. The shampoo and shower gel dispensers are in a really strange place as under the shower as wash out your hand. Plenty of storage space, ice can be provided, we brought wine on board from Barcelona and wine glasses suddenly appeared in our cabin. On our anniversary we had balloons and a card. Anything we needed our steward would sort. It was quiet and comfortable.

Port Reviews

Mykonos

We looked at the map on the wall as you arrive from the port transport and realised we could walk the area, we walked through little Venice and saw the windmills and then sat and relaxed in a bar with wonderful food. Loved this place and wish we had more than a Sunday morning. We paid for the port transfer but then found we could have taken a little boat for half the price and it would have been more fun.
