We sailed out of Grenada. We had perfect weather, wonderful shipmates, an attentive (but not overly so) crew, an excellent chef and a comfortable cabin. This was our first experience on a motorized sailing vessel. At dinner our cruise director would explain where we were going and what activities would be available and all of the information was posted to a whiteboard by the next morning. There was plenty to do or nothing to do; totally up to us. We snorkeled and swam in beautiful waters, we took one guided tour that was very interesting. We could do some hiking or walking or be driven by dinghy to our beach of the day.

We mostly ate all meals on board but did have "Cheeseburgers in Paradise" on a lovely beach one day, cooked by our wonderful chef, George. After dinner excursions were available, but we were happy to have our nightcap on the Sagitta and retire early to our cozy cabin so we could be ready to go with a delicious breakfast the next morning. I loved that we were always in sight of land as we sailed; the sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking in the Caribbean. The instructions received prior to our trip, during our trip and for disembarkation were very thorough. Pack less; very casual, bathing suits, t-shirts, flip flops and a couple of books - you'll be all set!
