Over the past few years my husband and I have realized that we like things to be smaller. We no longer enjoy the crowds at large resorts. We enjoy B&B's. We avoid chain restaurants. We like small restaurants where we actually know the staff and owners. We became disenchanted with the large cruise lines. We found we spent a lot of time avoiding the crowds. We wanted more time in ports. We hated the nickel and diming at every turn. We had started flying to favorite destinations and renting vilas. We wanted more time on the water.
Luckily we found Island Windjammers. We chose a trip on the Sagitta from Grenada to Bequia and back. The website describes in great detail what to expect and they were very accurate. If you have questions they are more than happy to answer. When you call real people answer the phone! Our trip had 16 guests and 10 crew. We knew everyone within days. The atmosphere is casual. We all got along well and had a great time.
We took the transfers arranged by Island Windjammers. This made everything very easy. They were prompt and very friendly. The prices were good.
