My wife and I were extremely happy with the whole tour from beginning to end. This was the first cruise of any kind and although expensive was the best holiday we have been on. The hotels were first class but that being said I don't understand why a 5 star hotel in Prague does not allow free wifi in the hotel room. The Idun being only 3 years old was a wonderful ship being clean and the staff outstanding and went out of their way to make sure your stay was first class. The meals were the best we have experienced. Stephanie, our cruise director, was a hoot and went way out of her way to pre book my wife and I on a post stay train trip to Decin in the Czech Republic.

The biggest CON to the ship is the fact that the gift SHOP was a laugh as its hidden in the corner and they were OUT OF STOCK! The shore excursions were very well organized and everything was on time. The only issue on any of the tours was that of Prague City/Lobkowicz Tour, which was optional. We found that from 0900-1300hrs walking and then finishing off the Tour at the Lobkowicz Castle was very exhausting and long. It was a very worthwhile and wonderful Tour but it should show on the Viking book that it is a long walk through the Old Town of Prague then doing the Lobkowicz Castle and museum.

We would definitely recommend this tour and VIKING to anyone as we consider the whole holiday a 10!!!!

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B

Our cabin was well set up to accommodate our needs. Having a morning coffee on the balcony as the ship moved was worth everything. Peaceful quiet and wonderful German scenery. The cleaning lady, Gordana, made us feel special and pampered and we couldn't thank her enough for spoiling us and making the room up for my wife's birthday! The cabin was always clean and the bathroom literally scrubbed down everyday.
