Back yesterday from 14 glorious nights on the Viking Baldur/ and Magni. It was our very first cruise ever..to celebrate my retirement and our 30th Anniversary. We arrived in Amsterdam late as the airport was fogged in...regret we didn't get a chance to see the city at all. But nor regrets after that!

Can't say enough about the crew and staff...our Hotel manager Jens was fabulous as was Claus, our Tour Director. The chef and wait staff were outstanding. A special shout out to Jackson and Pamela who took such care of our table every night!!!!

We knew going in that the water levels were quite low but Viking was hoping that our cruise would be the first all season to make it all the way through to Budapest. Unfortunately that was not to be. We eventually had to repack and were bused to Nuremburg to pick up the new ship-the Viking Magni. However, it was a seamless transfer and Viking handled everything so smoothly!
