We loved our time in the islands and the ship is beautiful and well appointed. We treated the staff with respect and they treated us well. Service on the ship was fine and the food was better in the speciality restaurants then the buffet in the Aloha area. The Polynesian show and comedian are a must see, but the other entertainment offered was not of interest to us. They could vary the bar musicans instead of being the same every night, but the musicians were good. We did not miss losing our money in a casino and enjoyed several quiet evenings. The days were filled with tours and since there were no days at sea, we welcomed the quiet evenings to rest and prepare for the tours on the next day. Because the shore excursions offered were very expensive, we only took two that NCL offered and booked the rest ourselves. All six tours were excellent. There is an older crowd on this ship and it is not a party ship. We enjoyed our second honeymoon and it was a dream trip for us that we will never forget. We are thankful that we chose Pride of America for seeing the islands and recommend it to others that want to see Hawaii without unpacking their suitcases every two days.
The cabin was perfect and would have received an excellent rating except that the picture window lost it's seal and was foggy so we couldn't see out of us. Because the ship was full and we couldn't be moved to another cabin, we lost our ocean view for this trip which was very disappointing. I've read other reviews that the cabins are small, but we found the size to be perfect with a lot of storage. We are seasoned cruisers and this cabin's size was fine for two people.
