Our Grand European River Cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam in Sep 2015 was truly wonderful and one of the most enjoyable trips we have taken. My wife and I have traveled many places around the world. This was a our second Viking cruise and found it to be just as wonderful as the first. Viking really knows how to do it right. Two of our friends are separately taking similar Viking cruises based on our recommendation.

Our cabin had just enough space to be comfortable and it was well maintained. The Viking staff was very accommodating and met all of our needs. The dining experience on the ship was excellent and they often prepared dishes that were representative of the local area which we greatly enjoyed.

Due to low water conditions it was necessary to transfer ships via bus mid-cruise from the Skadi to the Bragi. This wasn't much fun but the Skadi and Bragi crews did everything necessary to accommodate the guests including a free excursion to Rothenburg. The Skadi and Bragi staffs were excellent in every respect. We couldn't be happier.
