This trip ended up as a second class trip in many ways and did not meet the standards of Viking's advertising. Due to water levels (which Viking knew of for weeks, but didn't tell us until the night before it effected us) 3 days of the trip ended up being a bus tour -- with 3 hour bus trips each day (and needing to leave and meet up at very specific times, unable to explore the cities on our own time). We had a ship change, so had experience on two ships; one of the ships had "OK" food; the other one had very inconsistent, frequently bad, food, and poor service. The wine quality was very mediocre at best. Overall this was a very second class, or even third class experience priced as a first class trip.
