Our cruising background includes two trips to Alaska on Serenade of the Seas, one trip to the Caribbean on Norwegian Dawn, Canada Cruise on Legend of the Seas, and three cruises to Hawaii. Our first cruise to Hawaii was on the Island Princess, the second on Celebrity Century and the most recent on the Star Princess as outlined below.

We flew from Hamilton Ontario to Vancouver on September 18th and stayed over at the Airport Holiday Inn located on Cambie Street in Richmond B.C. This is a hotel I have stayed at a number of times without any issues or complaints. Staff there have always been very helpful and even set up early check in to coincide with my flight arrival times. There is a nice pub in the hotel, The Fogg and Suds. It serves good food at reasonable prices and is fully licenced for alcohol. The bonus here is that if you are travelling on a budget, or with kids, there is a McDonalds on the front parking lot.

The room was clean, and the staff very helpful.
