It was a great trip. Even though we had to move to the Baldur due to low river issues, it was all pretty seamless and we had no issues. The two ships, the Magni and the Baldur, are identical. Our quarters on the Baldur were exactly like those on the Magni. The crew on both were excellent. And, I actually liked the food on the Baldur better than the Magni, although the Magni was very good as well.

Excursions were great and we had some really super tour guides. We loved our Nuremberg guide as well as our guide in Bamberg. And, the Abbey at Melk is a truly amazing place.

I have recommended the trip to several friends. It was wonderful.

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Though compact, the cabin was well laid out and functional. There was enough room to unpack everything and relax for the cruise. Common areas were always available if you wanted more space but we had the right size room for our needs and felt comfortable sitting and relaxing right there in our cabin.
