Sail Date: Oct 2015
Cabin: Stateroom with French balcony and outside balcony

The trip down the Rhine River with stops at 2000 year old German cities along the way and too many castles to count was stimulating and beautiful. The ship was new, extremely comfortable, food healthy and light ( although one could eat more calories without any trouble), a good but small gym and an amazing staff. Everyone was extremely responsive to any logistical request and or maintenance need ( we had a water leak in our bathroom that was fixed within minutes) Departures were arranged with efficiency and no confusion even when fog canceled many flights and required re-booking. The only problem was the low level of the water in the Rhine due to lack of rain so our arrivals were slowed by the necessity of traveling behind other slower ships all using the only available channel with enough water.
