We live in Fort Lauderdale and it's the home port for the Allure. Because of this, the ship gets a lot of publicity. We ordinarily don't like a ship this big, but we were curious. Several of our friends had sailed on her and raved about it, so we did the Caribbean on the Allure last December. We were impresssed and this time, we sailed with two other couples. Again, we enjoyed ourselves. We were pleased with the entertInment, especially "Mama Mia", Blue Planet and the Beatle Celebration. We also enjoyed David Kirkpatrick. He held my attention. I've read the Cruise Critic post cruise comments, both good and bad. It's hard to believe we were on the same ship. Some people will find fault wherever they go. That's too bad because they are only cheating themselves. Both of us are firm believers that you make your own good time and if you don't have fun, you have no one to blame but yourself. We have booked b2b on the Harmony of the Seas and yes, we will sail on the Allure again

Carmen was our stewardess and she was excellent. Wish we could have taken her home with us.
