From the time we were met at the airport and taken to the great Viking buses, and then taken to the ship we were super pampered and taken care of. The attendants wanted to carry absolutely everything for you. The food servers (waiting staff) were second to none in our opinion. We dine out a lot and this cruise on Viking way exceeded our expectation. Amazing service!!! The ship was so smooth that we hardly felt the ship move. Excursions were excellent and they used head set radios that made the information and excursions super exciting. The cabins were grand and well taken care of every day. The ship departed from Basel and cruised to Amsterdam and we made excellent friends with most all of the staff. I simply cannot say enough about Viking Cruise line. We really regretted that we did not take advantage of the pre and post options. Our loss. The cruise was just delightful.

Veranda Stateroom
Our room was absolutely perfect. The beds were great. Lighting was great and reading lamps and on/off switch for the bed was perfect. Great touch. Large bottled fresh water provided everyday (Nice touch). We opened our cabin door and walked out on our balcony everyday and it was delightful.
