Disappointing end of trip!! The Sea Breeze, the food and the crew were outstanding (Athens to Venice, October 2015) BUT a tour we took in Venice at the end of the trip, supposedly of the little canals, which we feel should have been cancelled due to the weather, time of year (high water levels) and horrible water taxi was not--we paid for one itinerary, got another (a tour of a market and talk about a zucchini--ACK!!!!) and did not get a full refund as we had requested. We sent a certified letter to the CEO and have not had the courtesy of a reply in 2 weeks, despite the Cruise Lines claim to care for its visitors. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!!!! Never had a problem with the 3 trips we took on Viking....

There were no children on the ship and the outdoor decks weren't used because of the time of the year. The staff was fantastic and the cabins were wonderful--all suites. The food was top-notch. Entertainment was poor, however, as it was a small group and the singer was flat most of the time. I doubt they will continue on for other cruises.

Had it not been for the horrible day trip we highly paid for--that was a disaster and which should have been cancelled, we would have been left with much better feelings about Windstar cruises. I might add, another passenger couple who had taken 8 cruises with Windstar, said this tour was an embarrassment and they were horrified it hadn't been cancelled as well.
