We took the 12 day City of Lights Viking Cruise with an extended stay in Paris and Prague. In Paris, we stayed at the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel Hotel and in Prague, we stayed at the Hilton Prague. Both hotels were exceptional. Viking did not nickel and dime us with our accommodations. Both hotels are 4-5 star hotels and I have nothing but admiration for the staff of both hotels for their dedication to service and professionalism.

We were at the Idun long ship but due to the lower water in the Rhine river, we were switched to Oden. Both ships were outstanding with great staff. The switch was no problem at all as Viking took care of everything, transfer and taking care of the luggages. The Viking staff were all very courteous, hardworking and helpful. Our Program Director, Stephanie, was great. She never left our side and took care of everything. She worked relentlessly to make sure that everything was taken care of. Viking River Cruise staff were all very well organized and know what they are doing. Everything was first class. The tour buses are mostly brand new (some made by Mercedes Benz) and very comfortable. We are very appreciative of the local tour guides who were born and raised in those areas who gave us a feel of what it would be like to live in the area and it's rich history. We felt like locals ourselves even for a short time. Overall, I would recommend the Viking River Cruise to everyone and anyone. We have already made plans to take a Viking Cruise in 2017.

Cabin Review

Veranda Superior

Cabin A

Big enough. The veranda was really nice to have. Bathroom very clean and large enough. Cabin staff was always around for whatever we need.
