We took the Paris and the Heart of Normandy cruise on October 26. Our real disappointment was the location of the dock. It was several miles outside of Paris which made it hard to visit the City whenever we wanted. That being said, the cruise, the staff, the food, and the scenery was wonderful.
One of the best stops was the home of Monet and viewing his beautiful garden. Even though it was the end of the season (winter was fast approaching), we could still see the beauty in the garden. From every angle there was a new scene to paint or photograph. No wonder Monet spent so much time there.
The next favorite thing was the shopping trip to a local market with the Chef. It was most interesting and informative.
Cabin was small but very adequate and beautifully appointed. How much are you in your room anyway?
One of the best art museums in Paris. Start at the top floor and work your way down. Was very disappointed at the restaurant.
Walking tour through the town, visiting the Cathedral and other sights.
