Sail Date: Oct 2015
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Overall I had a good cruise with lots of friends onboard. I had a Balcony Cabin on Deck 11 near the forward elevators. My first full morning I went to walk on the walking/jogging track (great). I turned left from my cabin and could not even see the end of hall (aft). I figured that every day I was walking an additional mile just to get to my cabin. I did get my exercise. I did not find the ship crowded, just too big and long! I also did not get the community atmosphere I find on Freedom class and smaller ships. You are always seeing new people and not faces you saw yesterday. I found most passengers less friendly.

Shows were pretty good. I loved the Comedy Club! Trivia was great. My Time Dining was good and food was good. Even without reservations we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table. Solarium Cafe and Park Cafe were excellent! I only ate at the Windjammer 3 times and it was just okay. I ate with friends at The Coastal Kitchen and it was one of the best meals I've ever had at sea or land. Fantastic Restaurant!

I found all the service to be excellent. But for me I will not be sailing Allure or Oasis again. It lacks character and just too big!

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

I was fortunate that I got a balcony for only $200 more than an interior. I loved the cabin, layout, and all the space. It was nice to have it all to myself. Plus 2 of my friends were 2 doors down.

Port Reviews

Malaga

It was pouring rain the whole time and it was mostly outside time.

Barcelona

My fifth time in Barcelona and my favorite city in Europe.
