Like many we were fortunate to book the Anniversary Cruise on the first day it became available....actually we were on an Alaska cruise that day. I will say there was some high and low points to this cruise. Always love sailing out of Los Angeles one of the best ports for embarkation, comfortable and very efficient. We have sailed the Pacific Princess once before on a 10 day Alaska cruise and loved it. However, with the smaller ship you can certainly feel the rougher seas. Our cabin was on the deck 3 mid ship with a port hole...very comfortable.

As far as the dinning, as always the service was excellent, food however was good, nothing outstanding. We did dine at the streak house, the service and food both outstanding. We were disappointed that the ship was not decorated for the holidays until the last 3 days of the cruise....on other Princess ships that we have sailed in that time period were decorated and were much more elaborate. Entertainment was outstanding, seeing the Love Boat crew was a kick....and I had no idea what a wonderful singer Danny Most was from Happy Days.

As far as the ports....we have been to them so many times that we would just take a walk in the towns or stay aboard ship. With so many elite on board (over 400 out of 600) room service was slow as well as laundry service, but that was to be expected. Again Disembarkation was a breeze. Happy to be a part of this special cruise.

Oceanview

Love the storage and little sofa....so different than most of the Princess cabins.
