Liberty of the Seas was a wonderful cruise experience. Just had 3 days of rain, wind and cold. Room service from our steward Grace Y. was excellent. She provided much needed information and help.
Dining was good with the exception of slow service in Main Dining room first night. Changed floors for rest of stay and except for slowness and forgetfulness of one of the newer waiters service was good - food was excellent.
Shore Excursion in Jamaica was very poor. Went to Dunns River Falls to observe only. There were too many people - felt that you were being herded like cattle. Could not keep up with the tour guide and couldn't hear anything she was saying. Trip back to ship was a total disaster. Received a police escort, traveling at 70/80 miles per hour almost sideswiping cars, almost running head on into other cars. Our lives were at risk. Most people very upset. People should be warned that most of the trip is spent driving (total of 4 1/2 hours) and no time to enjoy the Falls or the Beach. Did receive a 40% discount but should have had a full refund on this excursion. Will never book another excursion again.
Satisfied with my cabin - room steward Grace Y was excellent.
Enjoyed the sites of the city. Hotel Tremont - they need to take control of the kids running up and down the steps constantly for hours. One very bad family group did this for hours on end - very disrupting for other sitting in the lobby trying to enjoy a quite time.
Went off on our own to shop and go to beach. Went to Mr. Sancho's Beach - enjoyed the time sunning and the ocean.
