We are seasoned cruisers and this was our 12th cruise in the past 9 years. We previously cruised with Azamara on Journey in the Black Sea in 2013 and were very pleased, so we booked a cruise around Indonesia with Azamara on Quest. We traveled to Singapore from Toronto on Air Canada and spent a day in Singapore before the cruise.

We were on a 10 night cruise from Singapore to Bali and it was rainy season with rain and high winds all 4 sea days. The Stabilizers are a little tired and it made for a bumpy journey. The ship is going into dry dock in the spring.

We found the menus in Discovery to be boring most dinners, although there were 3 very good brunches. We also thought the food quality was less than we expected based on our previous Azamara cruise and our experience on other cruise lines. On the other hand the 2 upgrade restaurants Prime-C and Aqualina were outstanding. Our server Melina in Prime-C was outstanding as was Jose in Aqualina.

Cabin Review

Club Deluxe Veranda Stateroom

Cabin was okay, but shower was not great. It was nice to have a veranda, when it wasn't raining.
