As usual with Viking, we were met at the airport and had no worries about logistics from that point onward. The trip was very interesting and educational. We also took both the pre and post cruise extensions. These were also extremely well organized.
Food was very good and it was nice to try some of the different cuisines. This should be called a "wine" tour, as we visited wineries many days for tours and tasting. Perhaps a trip to a cork farm & factory should be substituted for one of these.
The main criticism I have is that we drove within a few miles of Fatima, one of the most famous sites for Catholics, and didn't stop to visit it. That is one of the largest tourist attractions in Portugal and it disappointed me to not visit it (by the way, I'm protestant).
Loved it. Roomy and very well organized.
