After several ocean cruises (which we love), this was our first river cruise. What an amazing experience!! The ship was beautiful - clean, very well laid out. The service was beyond impeccable. I was so impressed with the service - from the cruise director (who knew us after just one day!!), the wait staff, the front desk personnel... All around, we loved everything about our cruise. The excursions were very well organized and interesting. The food was delicious!! We particularly appreciated that alcohol with meals as well as the excursions were included in the price of the cruise so we didn't feel like we were nickeled and dimed the whole time. We met a wonderful array of people on the ship with whom we still keep in touch. We can't wait for our next river cruise. We are also looking forward to trying a Viking ocean cruise.
